The first full day of the Acumatica Summit came to a close and provided partners and customers with a lot of big news and demos of some cool new features.  Here are some of the interesting items from the first day:

• Acumatica 6.1 is now available
  • Change the Customer on an existing sales order
  • Approval of expense receipts and have it paid via payroll
• Integration with DocuSign
•  “Smart Capture” – When taking a picture of a receipt, Acumatica will find the corners and pass it to Expense Receipt
• New Print, Pack and Ship screen works with a scale to capture the weight and automatically print a label during shipment confirmation
• Dashboard drilldown
• New Vertical editions
  • Commerce
  • Field Service
• Robust REST API endpoints
• New OEM Partnership with Senior Software
