Acumatica has announced the 2019 R2 release is now generally available. This continues Acumatica commitment to provide two upgrades a year and with over 100 improvements and new features there is something in this update for everyone. Most improvements came as suggestions from customers, developers and partners. Here are just a few highlights of the new release:

• Worldwide SMS Support – Users can received notifications via text message without needing the Acumatica mobile app
• Expense report receipts – Auto created from images
• Application of payments to particulate lines of AP documents – Partial payments on a AP document can be assigned to individual document lines
• Corporate credit card – Reconciliation support has been added
• Budget control on document entry – Users are warned when a document, like an AP bill, will exceed the project budget
• Prepayments – Add prepayments to purchase order
• Daily Field Reporting – New feature for Construction Edition users
• Project and Field Service integration – Create service contracts, project schedules and tasks with default cost codes
• Engineering Change Control (EEC) – Handles multiple change request with option to group requests for approvals and display bill-of-material comparisons
