Loan Book Dashboard Overview
Like Acumatica, AcuLoan has its own dashboard that can be configured to best fit your needs. This dashboard is configured and designed the same as any other dashboard in Acumatica using the design feature along the top right-hand side of the screen (you can see this in the screenshot above). The AcuLoan dashboard is called the Loan Book Overview.
In the photo below, users will see what the Loan Book Overview dashboard looks like and what tiles are and graphs are available to configure.
On the Loan Book Overview Dashboard, there are several configurable tiles. These help users to see an overview of their loans and accounts in AcuLoan. In this specific dashboard view you can see several things:
• Total Book Value
• Advanced Payments Disbursed
• Receipts Payments Received
• Different Trends – deal size and capitalized interest
• Actual vs. Budget – Income
• View of Certain Loans
There are several other items that can be included on a dashboard for AcuLoan. These tiles and graphs have many customization options. The colors can be changed as well as the thresholds which prompt the tile to “alert.” Dashboards in the AcuLoan program from Acumatica are a great way to get an overview of what is happening in the system. These dashboards can be configured one time for multiple users to see.

Each of these tailored editions makes the product a better fit for each customer that is using Acumatica.
Acumatica’s Retail-Commerce Edition allows you to manage omnichannel orders, the picking-packing-shipping process, customer support, inventory, returns, and accounting. This edition has the Advanced Financials and Distribution Suite.
The Distribution Edition allows customers to manage inventory, streamline sales orders, enhance purchasing, calculate true costs, and automate cross-company transactions. The Distribution Edition is a great solution for wholesale distributors. It has two suites: the Finance Suite and the Distribution Suite.
The Acumatica Construction Edition has streamlined project management, powerful financials and reporting, integrated payroll, inventory, service management, and comprehensive job cost accounting. This edition has the Advanced Financial Suite and the Distribution Suite created for Acumatica.
The last edition Acumatica has is the General Business Edition. It helps customers cohesively use Financials, CRM, Project Accounting, and Reporting all in one place. It allows a business to focus on growing while using one ERP system. This is true for all the editions; it makes accounting that much easier.

Acumatica 2022 R1: Release Feature Overview
With the turn of a new year, Acumatica will be releasing new product features in its 2022R1 release. Acumatica’s new release is focused on working smart on the go, global capabilities, and leading the industry. Below is an overview of some of the features that will be included for the Acumatica platform and the mobile app:
John Howell Acumatica Co-Founder Podcast
AUGForums Real Talk is a podcast that breaks down Acumatica’s latest news with interviews and other pieces of user information. Recently on the AUGForums.com Real Talk Podcast, they talked with the Acumatica co-founder and channel architect, John Howell. During this podcast, they reviewed an array of topics like John Howell’s early background, his career, how he got into ERP, and how he eventually landed with Acumatica.
Acumatica Licensing
When you are looking for a new ERP system there are multiple factors at play; licensing is one of them. Acumatica Licensing is broken down piece by piece which helps tailor everything to a company’s specific need. Product editions are broken down by company size and industry specifics. Whether you are a small business in need of the Construction Edition or an Enterprise company in need of the General Business edition, Acumatica has you covered.
Acumatica Summit 2022 Overview
We are finally back from the annual Acumatica Summit. Over 1,800 people were gathered at the Wynn Las Vegas to see how the world’s fastest growing cloud ERP system continues its advancement.
With Day 1 came a lot of emphasis on customers, growth, and agility. The keynote session with Acumatica CEO Jon Roskill focused on showing how Acumatica has an ecosystem mentality for its growth. This ecosystem includes developers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Valued Acumatica Resellers (VARs), OEMs, and of course the customers and community. Also, it has three focuses: Integration, Extensibility, and Vertical Application.
There were also three announcements made:
- Acumatica is going after a new vertical with the implementation of a Property Management Module.
- Acumatica Document Cloud will make the integration with Adobe that much smoother.
- Autodesk integration with model viewer embedded into Acumatica.
Acumatica is focused on aligning with customer needs, the democratization of tech, innovation, and growth. Jon Roskill left us with a final statement, “Thank you for trusting Acumatica.”
On day 2 we were formally introduced to Acumatica 2022 R1. Presenters started strong talking about community focus and emphasizing once more about how the customers are what makes this product what it is. They listen to what they want, and they work on building solutions that will work for the customers.
2022 R1 focuses on 3 main ideas: Working smarter on the go, unlocking global markets, and going broader and deeper with industry-leading capabilities. Some of the integrations in R1 include UiPath Connectors, where customers can easily automate repetitive tasks. Another integration is an Amazon Connector integration for those who sell on Amazon.
Acumatica focuses on enhancing the user experience and making sure they are always staying current in a fast-paced technology world. With updates to its mobile app, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, Acumatica is proving its dedication to its customers.

Dynamics SL CU7 Now Available
Just in time for the Holidays, Microsoft released some news for us. Every time the year is close to an end, we wait for those Year End Updates or anything else they might be releasing. Just last week, Microsoft came out with Dynamics SL CU7. There isn’t too much to unpack, but let’s get into it.
This update focused more on the 1099-NEC Form, as well as the 1099-MISC Form. The 1099-NEC or Non-Employee Compensation has been updated to support the IRS 2021 tax reporting formats. The same goes for the 1099-MISC (03.740.00) Form. The new 1099 Forms can be printed through the 1099 Forms Report.

Who is Acumatica?
Who is Acumatica? A lot of the focus usually goes on what a company like this does or what it can provide. What makes Acumatica different from other companies is that it goes beyond just what services it provides.
Acumatica was founded in 2008 in the city of Bellevue, WA. The company quickly grew and received recognition almost right away. In 2009 on-premises and SaaS software versions were released and then in 2010 distribution software came into play. Shortly after they were beginning to receive awards, and the company that you know today, was getting a name for itself. The founders of Acumatica are Mike Chtchelkinogov and Solomon Software co-founders Serguei Beloussov and John Howell. Jon Roskill, the CEO of the company pushes the company to provide, and to grow. This means for each person in the company, and for each customer of the company.
Some of the recognition Acumatica has received dates back to 2012 when the company was named a Top 100 Global Finalist by Red Herring, and later on also being first in the Top 20 Coolest Cloud Vendors by CRN. Acumatica has been the best software publisher that we have worked with. They go above and beyond to meet needs, exceed expectations, and dive headfirst into the technological advancements in our time.
