Katie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from SUNY Cortland and began her career at Welch Allyn (now Baxter) in Skaneateles, NY. Over the course of 20 years there, she progressed through a variety of roles, starting in Manufacturing and later moving into Data and Document Management. This experience gave her a well-rounded understanding of production processes, quality systems, and the importance of accuracy and consistency in regulated environments.
Throughout Katie’s time at Welch Allyn, she developed a strong foundation in quality systems and process improvement, along with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Working across different departments also strengthened her ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, adapt to changing priorities, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both efficiency and end-user experience.
Katie enjoys spending time reading, walking with her dog, Fergus, and attending her son’s soccer games. When not working, her favorite place to travel to is the ocean or lake for some sunshine.
